Big Papi’s Quick Pasta With Turkey Meatballs

Kosher salt
12 ounces pasta
5 strips of thick cut bacon (as if there were any other type)
8 ounces sweet Italian turkey sausage, casings removed formed into meatballs
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or crushed
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook as the label directs,

Fry bacon in a heavy bottom frying pan until desired doneness. reserve that bacon fat, place fried bacon to drain on paper towels
Heat good quality Olive oil in the frying pan used for the bacon until hot but not smoking.
Add crushed garlic cloves stir for 30 seconds, season with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.

Once pasta is cooked drain and place in a large bowl
Added crumbled bacon the toasted garlic and pan drippings.
Stir to combine.
Plate up pasta and top with Turkey meatballs and fresh parmesan cheese.
