Peppered Ribeye Steaks Recipe

Peppered Ribeye Steaks Recipe

4 beef ribeye steaks (1-1/2 inches thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons dried ground thyme
2 teaspoons dried ground oregano
1-1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Brush steaks lightly with oil. In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Sprinkle seasonings over steaks and press into both sides. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 7-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°).

Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Place on a warm serving platter; cut across the grain into thick slices.
